Knitting Machine
Thanks for the article from Isaiah Gaines Since I stay at home, lights and heat on, and work from a beautiful rustic desk instead of heading into the city all day, we need to save money on our power bill. I researched on NEWYORKenergyRATES.com and lowered our rate so we’re not breaking the bank every month. Another trick – I learned to knit. So far, I’ve knitted a hat, three pairs of socks, gloves and mittens (only one pair of gloves, those were a doozie!), six (yes, SIX) scarves and a poncho. So, even though Jeff thinks his wife is crazy, I wake p every morning, turn the heat down, grab a few cups of hot coffee and layer up. There’s no sense in sitting in the heated house all day in shorts and a tank, when we can lower our bill and I can still be warm. Wouldn’t you love a picture of me during my daily conference calls? I bet. That’s a no. I look like a mix between the Michelin Man and Frosty the Snowman (plus two more scarves). It’s a sight, I assure you. But this girl is WARM
